I am grateful for the shade along the road that parallels Playa Amarillo providing a shady passage to Playa Colorado, the next beach, and a comfortable climate for a run. At the other end of my playground, hugging the cliffs above the Redondo Beach Cove, I spied this beauty, shaping the threshold between earth and sky.
On the beach in Playa Amarillo, these sprouts poke their way out of the sand.
Along an estuary on Playa Gigante, a homeowner grows mangrove seedlings to restore and preserve the mangrove grove.
This beautiful leaf was found floating in a tidal pool in the Redondo Beach Cove. I was drawn to the colors but did not find the tree from which it had blown.
Thanks for visiting!
