Rattlesnake Ridge

Rattlesnake Ridge is a 20 mile round trip run starting from the car park at Exit 27, winding up beautiful forested trails to the ridge at about mile 5 and then down to Rattlesnake Lake. It was snowy at the top and windy the day I visited. There were amazing tiny little stalactites growing up through leaves on the frosty ground. The trees were dancing in the wind, the clouds were moving fast and when the sun came out from time to time, the skies glowed. Click on the images to enlarge.
